Recipe for a Military Wife

1 1/2 Cup Patience
2 tablespoons elbow grease
1 pound courage
1 cup tolerance
dash of adventure

Marinate frequently with salty tears and pour off excess fat. Sprinkle ever so lightly with money, kneading dough well until payday. Season with international spices. Bake for twenty years or until done. Serve with pride!

These are my hair clips. She thinks it's so much fun when they are on her fingers. She has started figuring out how to get them off, so we'll see how much longer this fun lasts...or mommy will be missing all her hair clips!



Zada thinks my stinky feet are so hysterical. She'll sit at the opposite end of the couch and I'll get her with my feet. She'll bust out laughing immediately.

Zada's 1st Pool Experience

These were taken on June 7, 2008. Zada had her first pool experience at my Sister's Apartment complex. It was fun, she was tired so it didn't last long, especially since the water was soothing her to sleep. If she could have fallen asleep in that floaty, she would have! Every time she tried to lay her head down she would sink into the water a little so she'd have to raise her head again.

This will be one of my all time favorites!! She is saying to herself...ooooh, she is about to point and ask "what's that?". She makes this face a lot. It's really amazing to see her grow and be excited about learning new things.


Umm...this is just my little thumb sucker. I am going to have to buy a book and figure out how to wean her from it...short of cutting it off. :) LOL!
