Zada was playing with my head band and Beppe thought that was GREAT FUN...so he joined in by trying to bite it! I was right there...so don't panic. But I caught him at just the right time...Too Funny...

We finally got an OCS date for John. It's May 10th. I don't things actually gear up for him until Sunday, but the first week is going to be hard on him and us!!

Zada turns 1!!!

Wow!!
What an emotional day it's been! My sweet baby girl is one! It seems like only yesterday she was learning to raise her head, she was giving me her first smile or her first hug! Now she is walking, giggling, talking and much more.

John News

Well, John passed his second PRT. We both have since joined a Gym...him to get into mindset of working out on a daily basis and me...I just want to get rid of this last 5-8 lbs of baby fat, while well worth it since I now have Zada out of the deal it's still undesireable. There is daycare at the gym which works out great because she is right there when I get finished...anyway...back to John. Now that he has passed his PRT...again, we are just waiting for a letter in the mail with his "ship date" (this is what I'm calling it even if he is not shipping out, just going to OCS).

OCS stands for Officer Candidacy School. He will attend this for 12 weeks in Rhode Island, then he will go to Athens GA for his "school" where he will learn to be a supply officer. This should last about 27 weeks. We don't know how much time there is between OCS and School, but more than likely not very much.

We will let you know when we recieve the letter with the "ship date", but the recruiter that John has been working with said within 45 days, so it should all happen very quickly.
